The New York Knicks might have found a way to help boost their 38% drop in television ratings on MSG Network. Â Toss in his own television show if Kevin Durant signs with the Knicks.
This is a very good idea, but also may come off as desperate.  To be honest, they should throw in even more.  Let’s name some streets, boroughs, you know what, lets rename the city.  New York turns into New Durant?  Brainstorming here.
Scott Perry and company should be prepared to offer or toss in whatever Durant wants. Â He has already moved his Thirty Five Ventures company to the Big Apple. Â Everyone also knows that Durant loves Rucker Park. Â He dominates when he comes and brings in a crowd.
New York is ready to embrace him. Â What better to include in, most likely, a hefty contract than your own television show.
The New York Knicks might have presented one clue to these alleged rumors.  Most recently on their Instagram account, the Knicks introduced ‘Mitch’s Block Party’.  Episode 1 aired yesterday with Mitchell Robinson interviewing and eating the birthday cookie that he bought for teammate Daymesn Dotson.
Of course the rumors were. That Durant’s show would be on MSG Network and Mitch’s Block Party was on Instagram.  However, could be this be a trial run for Kevin Durant’s show could be like, saying that he signs?  Only time will tell.
