New York Giants Top News 5/20: OTAs have arrived, what to look out for

Happy Monday New York Giants fans! I know it’s the beginning of the week, but we have football to track and players to analyze. The Giants will begin OTAs today and we will have the chance to see QB3, also known as, Daniel Jones, perform against NFL players rather than recently drafted rookies.

The excitement building around Jones and the rest of the rookies breeds optimism, but it’s yet to be seen if they can stand up against better quality players. This will be our opportunity to watch them develop before the 2019 season begins and enjoy some of the position battles that will ensue.

Several position battles I’m looking forward to:

Chad Wheeler vs Mike Remmers

Julian Love vs Grant Haley

DeAndre Baker vs Sam Beal

Ryan Connelly vs BJ Goodson (could be more interesting than you’d think)

Spencer Pulley vs Jon Halapio

There will be plenty more to write home about, but these are some primaries that popped into my head. Comment below if you have another good one to keep an eye on!
