Happy Sunday New York Giants fans! If drafting Daniel Jones wasn’t enough of a surprise, there could be another one in the near future. The Giants are one of the top teams to score the reality TV show, “Hard Knocks.” The question is – does anyone actually want that for Big Blue?

While it’s exciting to see the interior of training camp and the competition that ensues, the TV show might be better allocated towards the Oakland Raiders. The reality of cameras and production crews circling players all Summer can often times create unnecessary tension, and while the Giants are trying to build an atmosphere of success, it might not be the best factor to add to the mix.

In other news, starting left tackle Nate Solder is undergoing season-ending surgery. I’m only joking, relax! He will be back and healthy by training camp – he will miss OTAs offering George Asafo-Adjei, the Giants’ seventh-round pick out of Kentucky, a chance to prove his worth and show signs of quality. It will also give Chad Wheeler an opportunity to elevate his game and demonstrate to the coaching staff that he can be a starting-caliber player.

The position battles that will occur this offseason will be extremely exciting, which is part of the reason the Giants are facing 3/1 odds to feature on “Hard Knocks.”
