New York Giants fans are already calling for major changes to be made following a 1-3 start to the season.
The Giants turned in another stinker on primetime, losing 24–3 to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night. The Giants were outmatched, outcoached, and blown out at home, causing many to question whether or not head coach Brian Daboll would consider making any drastic changes.
After the game, Daboll told reporters that he would not be making any significant coaching or personnel changes this week, despite the team’s clear ineptitude through the first month of the season.
Brian Daboll says the Giants won’t make any significant changes
Following the game, Daboll met with reporters during his postgame press conference and answered questions regarding the team’s Week 4 defeat. One reporter asked Daboll if he thinks changes are needed.
“We haven’t played well,” Daboll said. “We’ve got a lot of work to do and that’s what we’ll do.”
The reporter then followed up to clarify whether or not Daboll anticipated making any personnel or coaching changes.
“No,” Daboll replied as he shook his head in disappointment.

Will the coaches remain safe?
Daboll and his staff were praised endlessly following the conclusion of last season. Daboll won Coach of the Year after leading Big Blue to their postseason victory in over a decade. Both offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale were given serious consideration for vacant head-coaching jobs in the offseason.
Things have taken an extreme u-turn for the worse since then. Every coach on this staff is currently underperforming and having their job status called into question.
If things do not turn around soon, changes may become inevitable.
