Good Morning, New York Giants fans!

I hope everybody is enjoying their Memorial Day weekend – those extra Monday’s off are really GOLD. Please stay safe and remember, don’t drink and drive!

The New York Giants are moving through the offseason swiftly, and as we progress, new ideas are introduced to the fans base. Here’s the newest one – a possession-based offense that doesn’t rely on electric plays to score. While the possession game can be boring, it often leads to more wins.

Dialing down the Giants’ play-style and moving the chains incrementally can be more beneficial for the entire team. It keeps the defense off the field and well-rested, as well as promoted a diverse offense that gets every player involved. The signing of Golden Tate and extension of Sterling Shepard attests to the idea I’m presenting.

I expect the offense to operate more efficiently without Odell Beckham Jr. – yes, I said it. Some might find this statement to be untrue, but I feel that way for a specific reason. Often times, Eli Manning was caught forcing the ball to Beckham on plays where other options were wide-open. Spreading the ball around evenly and moving through progressions smoothly will, in fact, promote a better quality offense.

Nonetheless–
