Top New York Giants news of the day!

Good Morning, New York Giants Fans!

I want to take this time to acknowledge the passing of Giants quarterback, known as the “Hefty Lefty” Jared Lorenzen. The former passer for Big Blue passed away and the young age of 38, far too soon.

Lorenzen’s family stated after hid passing:

“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jared today, July 3, 2019,” they wrote. “We appreciate all of the warm wishes and prayers, but as a family, we would request your respect and privacy.”

While Jared has passed beyond, he will always be engraved in the history of the Giants and its fans. We will remember him during the good and bad days, but today we will take a moment of silence to think about his family what they must be going through.

On July 4th, a day of Independence, take a moment to send a prayer over the Lorenzen family and that they find peace in his tragic passing.

The Giants stated:

“Jared was a special person, and a beloved Giant,” the NFL organization wrote alongside an action shot of the athlete. “He was an important member of our 2007 team, one that created its own destiny. Our thoughts are with Jared’s family and friends who loved and appreciated him so much, just as our organization and fans did.”

Nonetheless–
