He previously covered the top local and international sports for Philstar.com, the online arm of one of the Philippines' leading newspapers, from 2011 to 2016. A well-traveled journalist, he has covered the Asian Games twice; Manny Pacquiao fights and continues to follow their national basketball team, Gilas Pilipinas. He remains an NBA contributing writer. He was also an assistant editor for the inaugural NBA Philippines website from 2011 to 2013 and Fox Sports Philippines from 2016 to 2017. He has been credentialed by the NBA as an international writer since the 2021-22 season.
