UFC St. Louis goes down this weekend at the Enterprise Center and a heavyweight banger will close out the show. “The Black Beast” Derrick Lewis (28-12) takes on Rodrigo Nascimento (11-1, 1 NC). St. Louis’ own Joaquin Buckley (18-6) gets a big test in the co-main event as he takes on the surging Nursulton Ruziboev (34-8-2).

We have already broken down the main event and co-main event in detail on the site. We also have breakdowns of the Robelis Despaigne – Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Alonzo Menifield – Carlos Ulberg fights. Those breakdowns preview each matchup and predict the outcome.

This article is all around the best bets for this upcoming weekend to try and get a little extra money in your pocket. There’s three sections where I’ll go through a safe parlay, live underdogs, and my personal Hail Mary parlay for the upcoming weekend. With that, let’s jump on into the betting for UFC St. Louis.

Easy Parlay

If you’re looking to play it safe but you still want to get plus odds, I have a pretty good parlay to keep your eyes on. Here’s the play (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook):

Parlay Odds: +202

Tabatha Ricci and Tecia Pennington are going to have a very entertaining matchup. I think there’s going to be a lot of volume and a lot of grappling, but I don’t see a finish happening here. Same thing with the JJ Aldrich – Veronica Hardy fight. Both of these two fights at UFC St. Louis are going to be competitive, but I don’t see any of the four fighters scoring a finish.

Robelis Despaigne – Waldo Cortes-Acosta is not going to last long. Cortes-Acosta is going to stand with Robelis Despaigne and someone is going down in the first round. Getting this at -238 seems like a steal to me. When it comes to the UFC St. Louis main event, it’s pretty clear. Derrick Lewis is going to win by knockout or he’ll lose a decision. I don’t see Nascimento finishing Lewis in any fashion so either Lewis gets a brutal knockout, or he’s grappled for five rounds.

Live Underdogs

One live underdog I have my eyes on is Alonzo Menifield. Menifield is currently +225 and I absolutely think he has a shot to defeat Carlos Ulberg. Ulberg is the better technical striker, but so was Dustin Jacoby who Menifield just beat. Menifield is on the rise right now and he has the power to change the fight instantly. Ulberg should be the betting favorite, but Menifield is a live dog if you ask me.

The other live dog I have is Rodrigo Nascimento at +136. If he can avoid the big shots from Lewis and take down The Black Beast at will, he has a path to a decision here. It’s a clear path for him and it’s all about maintaining distance and timing his entries perfectly.

UFC St. Louis Personal Parlay

Every UFC event I throw out a personal parlay that I think has a decent chance of hitting, but the odds are pretty long. Certainly don’t expect this to happen, but here’s my Hail Mary parlay for this weekend:

Total Odds: +3083

I’m not 100% confident in what we’ll see from Tecia Pennington after her extensive layoff. I think Tabatha Ricci is on the rise and I fully believe she’ll do enough over three rounds to win a decision at UFC St. Louis. Joaquin Buckley has a helluva challenge in front of him. However, Ruziboev is cutting to 170 for the first time in his octagon career and I just think Buckley is on too good of a run. I can’t see him losing in front of his home fans.

Waldo Cortes-Acosta is going to stand with Robelis Despaigne. It’s going to be a terrible move and the Olympic Bronze Medalist is going to get his hand raised. Sean Woodson is looking incredibly crisp right now and I think his boxing is going to be too much for Alex Caceres.

Alonzo Menifield is my Hail Mary pick in this parlay. If you want a smarter bet, go with Ulberg at UFC St. Louis because of his technical striking advantage. However, I just like the power of Menifield here and I think it plays. Lastly, Derrick Lewis is going to win tomorrow night. I just feel like the knockout is coming and it might be coming early.
