While some guys have started spring training slow for the New York Yankees, others have jumped out to extremely fast starts. Here are three guys who have impressed through the first two weeks of spring games.

Clint Frazier

Going into spring training, Frazier was a guy who would have to work to break camp with the MLB team. But with injuries to Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton and a hot start, he’s a sure lock to make the team.

In nine games, Frazier is hitting .353 with seven walks already. His pitch selection has clearly been better, and he’s been very locked in thus far.

DJ LeMahieu

He’s back like he never left.

In true DJ LeMahieu fashion, the 31-year-old is hitting .346 with a .393 OBP. I know it’s spring training and all, but I just don’t understand how this guy can’t stop hitting. There’s no offseason for him, no days off.

What’s even crazier is that he’s hitting .346 after an 0-for-4 game on Sunday.

Luke Voit

Voit was an under-the-radar question mark for the 2020 season, but he’s off to a strong spring start. The way he’s going, the starting first base job should be all his.

The muscular 29-year-old has been hitting .296 over nine games played. He’s hit a home run and driven in two while walking twice.

The Yankees need him to be like this in the regular season, and they are glad that he’s off to the spring start that he needed.

All three of these guys are very important to the Yankees roster. It’s great that they are all off to fast spring starts, and hopefully, they can carry this over into the regular season.
