The New York Rangers will begin training camp on Wednesday in Tarrytown, NY, with 66 players invited to participate.
The New York Rangers 2022-2023 season will begin on Wednesday when attaining camp begins with player medicals. This year 66 players were invited to camp, broken down into 41 forwards, 18 defensemen, and seven goaltenders.
The organization will hold its first practice on Thursday, September 22, at the MSG Training Center in Tarrytown. Training Camp will run through Sunday, October 9.
Three draft picks (Maxim Barbashev, Bryce McConnell-Barker, Adam Sykora) from the 2022 Entry Draft will attend camp along with off-season acquisitions Ryan Carpenter, Turner Elson, Gustav Rydahl, Vincent Trocheck, Ty Emberson, Andy Welinski, Jaroslav Halak and Louis Domingue.

Chris Kreider will begin his 12th camp with the Rangers fresh off his career year in goals scored with 52. He has the longest tenure of any active Ranger.
