The New York Jets exited a tough loss in Buffalo on Sunday with injuries to key players.

Mike White had to exit twice due to a rib injury. Corey Davis had to leave early with a concussion. Quinnen Williams left the game with a calf injury.

The good thing is that Jets head coach Robert Saleh delivered some encouraging updates yesterday.

New York Jets Injury Update:

Mike White is day-to-day:

Obviously, some big news. White has provided the Jets’ offense with nothing short of impressive quarterback play in each of his first three starts.

After having to leave Sunday’s contest two times, Coach Saleh had the following to say on White, “So, Mike, obviously, he’s dealing with his ribs. We’re gonna go day-to-day. We’re gonna get more information today, tomorrow. I’ll have better answers for you Wednesday.”

Saleh stated they are preparing as if White will start this week.

Quinnen Williams is day-to-day:

The Jets All-Pro defensive tackle is also day-to-day. Saleh said this on Williams, “He’s dealing with his calf. Similar to the one he had in training camp. Again, we’re gonna give it a couple of days, see how he feels.”

Saleh said his status for Week 15 is “50-50,” but that is just for now, as he will have more clarity by tomorrow.

Corey Davis could go Sunday:

On the veteran wide receiver, Coach Saleh stated the following, “Corey will be in the concussion protocol. Was feeling really good today. Hopefully, we have him back for Sunday.”

Brandin Echols is out:

The Jets cornerback and key special teams punt coverage contributor is dealing with a quad strain and will be out this Sunday. This likely could lead to Jeff Smith being active and filling Echols’ role alongside Justin Hardee as the gunners on the punt team.

Marcell Harris could be out for the year:

Marcell Harris has been a depth linebacker for the Jets but has played on special teams (177 snaps). He has an ankle injury. Saleh already ruled him out for this week and said that Harris could be out for the rest of the year.
