The New York Giants drafted tight end Daniel Bellinger in the fourth round of this year’s draft. Bellinger was viewed as a developmental tight end with the potential to eventually start in an NFL offense. But due to the lack of depth on the Giants’ roster, Bellinger was thrust right into the starting lineup to open up the regular season. This was a challenging position for any rookie to enter, however, Daniel Bellinger is already showing progress through three games.

Rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger has been making a solid impact in the New York Giants’ offense through the first three weeks of the season. Daniel Jones has trusted Daniel Bellinger as his primary tight end, and the rookie has delivered. Not only has Bellinger made an impact as a receiver, but he has also made an impact in the running game.
Daniel Bellinger was considered a very capable run-blocker coming out of the 2022 NFL Draft. Through three weeks, he has proven his capabilities and has done an excellent job as an in-line lead blocker.
On the season, Daniel Bellinger has five receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown. Four of those receptions and 40 of those receiving yards came in the most recent Week Three matchup against Dallas. Bellinger’s touchdown came in the Week Two victory over the Carolina Panthers. The rookie took his first career NFL reception into the endzone.
It is early, but it appears that the New York Giants have found a quality player in fourth-round pick Daniel Bellinger. He has flashed valuable potential, impacting the Giants’ offense in the running game and the passing game.
