Good Morning, New York Giants Fans!

After a rough start to the season for the Giants against the Dallas Cowboys, they will look to rebound against the Buffalo Bills in week two.

The matchup is favorable as Bills second-year quarterback Josh Allen struggled in his season debut against the Jets, turning the ball over four times. Buffalo’s offensive line is lackluster and should allow the Giants to have a successful day in the trenches. The pass rush needs to rebound in a big way after presenting themselves as a weakness.

Ultimately, stopping Allen from running the ball will be the priority. Also, he has a powerful arm and will look to beat the Giants downfield with speedy receivers like John Brown. Safety Antoine Bethea will play a big part in stopping Allen and his ability to throw the long ball.

On the offensive side of the ball for Big Blue, they might be without Cody Latimer, their de facto number one receiver after losing Sterling Shepard to a concussion this week. Without their top pass catcher, the Giants will be forced to utilize running back Saquon Barkley early and often. After earning just 11 touches last week against Dallas, Barkley will be the focal point and a necessity for the Giants offense to put points on the board.

The Giants offense of line and the best run grade out of any team in week one, and they must use that fact to their advantage against them Bills.

Score Prediction: Giants 27 – Bills 24
