2.) Run the football efficiently

The Giants have questions across their defense, so they will have to supplement some of their issues on offense. One of the best ways to keep your defense off the field to run the ball and take seconds off the clock. That should be the Giants’ game plan early on and games, looking to control the clock and establish momentum.

Too often, Pat Shurmur‘s game plan was predictable and lacked spunk.

The Giants have one of the best running backs in Saquon Barkley in the NFL, and utilizing him to his potential is a necessity. Keeping Barkley running with the ball in his hands will keep Pittsburgh’s offense off the field, which should theoretically give the Giants a better chance at winning with a low score on the board.
