In a little over 48 hours, the 2022 season gets underway for a whole new regime leading the New York Giants.
Following an exciting draft, the Giants have some reasons for hope and optimism.
One of those thrilling picks, Kayvon Thibodeaux, along with the other starting edge defender, Azeez Ojulari have recently been banged up.

Thibodeaux and Ojulari still not ruled out for the New York Giants:
As of now, the Giants are holding onto hope that the two young, dynamic pass rushers are good to go.
First-year head coach Brian Daboll met with the media earlier today to discuss where things stood with injuries. Thibodeaux with his knee injury and Ojulari with his calf are both listed as questionable. Daboll stated that the Giants may wait until pregame warmups to make a final decision on whether the two young players go.
Considering the limited team work the two have had as of late, the update is fairly encouraging. One of the main reasons the Giants should be fun to watch this year is because of these two players. They offer speed and athleticism at a premium impact position that is hard to find.
Hopefully, Thibodeaux and Ojulari, who are not currently ruled out, show some promise to the Giants before the game Sunday.
