The injury bug has bitten the New York Yankees again.

Luke Voit left Saturday’s game against the Boston Red Sox in London with an apparent injury. He was seen limping around the bases.

By the looks of it, we believed that it was a foot or ankle injury. However, reports say that the injury is in his abdomen, just beneath his belly-button.

It’s not known his status at this time. The Yankees won’t be completing any more tests until Sunday. He may very well be able to play through his injury.

If he does go onto the IL, DJ LeMahieu would play first and Thairo Estrada would likely crack the lineup either at second or as the designated hitter.
