The New York Yankees major league teams seem to be safe and sound for the time being, but their minor league system could be on the verge of a pandemic. A second minor league player has tested positive with Corona Virus after Denny Larrondo, a pitching prospect in the Yankees’ farm system tested positive two days ago, according to MLB Insider, Bryan Hoch.

Since the outbreak began, the Yankees’ top squad has camped out in Tampa while the minor league team that saw a player test positive has been holed up in a hotel where meals are being delivered. They will remain put for the time being — I expect more positive tests to return.
