Injuries continue to plague the New York Yankees this off-season, as outfielder Aaron Judge has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in a rib, dating back to a dive in September of last year. Judge has been feeling soreness and crankiness in his shoulder and pec area for several weeks now, but the latest update suggests it was a fracture that has been the culprit.

With Luis Severino, James Paxton, and Giancarlo Stanton all dealing with individual injuries, Judge is just another to add to the list. He will likely miss the next few weeks and the start of the regular season, as he will have to regain his form with live at-bats and fielding drills.
I expect the Yankees to sit him until he is fully recovered, but it is unlikely that he will make an appearance for the Bombers’ March 26 opening game against the Baltimore orioles.
