The days of required social distancing have continued to pile up as we continue to go without any sports. For the New York Mets, like the rest of baseball, it is hard to train under these conditions. Marcus Stroman is known for his innovative workouts and figured out a good place to throw a bullpen.

Social distancing has forced athletes throughout sports to create innovative ideas to still get their work in. Stroman is known for his pinpoint control, which is no surprise why he was confident enough to throw on a dock. He also threw to Dominic Smith a couple of days ago as well. Only three weeks in and Stroman might be the most game-ready out of any pitcher in baseball.

Zamora Keeps Ready as Well

Daniel Zamora has also been keeping himself ready by pitching in his batting cage at his home. As the weather starts to get nicer we may see more players follow the trend Stroman has been setting. Outside of the Mets, Joey Gallo of the Rangers recorded himself taking some hacks inside of his apartment. Very risky, but sometimes you have to do anything you can to stay ready.
