Jalen Brunson has been upgraded to questionable after sitting out in the New York Knicks‘ historic collapse against his former team Tuesday night.

The Dallas Mavericks paid a video tribute to their former guard, Brunson, then Luka Doncic proceeded to single-handedly beat them in overtime.

Without the steady Brunson and RJ Barrett, who went out early with a lacerated right index finger, the Knicks squandered a nine-point lead in the last 33.9 seconds of the regulation.

It was the first time an NBA team lost in such fashion over the last 20 years.

Brunson did not miss a game until Tuesday.

The Knicks will continue their Texas road trip in San Antonio Thursday and Houston on Saturday.

Barrett is reportedly likely miss the remainder of the road trip as he has been officially ruled out to play against the Spurs. He joins Obi Toppin (non-displaced fracture right fibula head) at the sidelines.

Toppin has missed the Knicks’ last 10 games with still no timetable for his return.
