Cam Reddish’s brief tenure with the New York Knicks is about to come to an end.
Reddish was again a healthy scratch and never bothered to take off his warmup suit during garbage time of the Knicks’ 113-89 rout of his former team, Atlanta Hawks, Wednesday night at the Madison Square Garden.
His second consecutive healthy DNP came on the heels of a New York Daily News that he and his representatives at Klutch Sports are working with the Knicks toward a trade.
Reddish denied any knowledge of a trade request in his first media session since he was yanked out of the rotation.
“Y’all seem to know more than me. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I haven’t requested a trade or anything like that.”

Tom Thibodeau said Reddish was handling his demotion as a pro. But not suiting up in a lopsided game, even after Obi Toppin didn’t return in the second half due to a sore knee, speaks volumes of where Reddish stands.
According to SNY’s Ian Begley, the Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Miami Heat have reached out to the Knicks since they acquired Reddish in January.
Reddish was supposedly part of the scuttled three-team deal with the Lakers and the Toronto Raptors at the February trade deadline.
The Lakers, which has one roster spot available after waiving Matt Ryan, are still interested in acquiring Reddish. But a third team is required to complete a trade, Begley added.
The Heat have been linked to Phoenix’s small forward Jae Crowder for quite some time now, but nothing has materialized yet.
Meanwhile, the Bucks are reportedly shopping Grayson Allen.
Reddish averaged 8.4 points on a career-high 44.9 percent clip in 20 games, including eight starts, this season. He is set to become a restricted free agent after this season.
