The ratings of the 2022 New York Jets running backs, safeties, and kickers in Madden NFL 23 were recently shared. There were five running backs, seven safeties, and two kickers, making for a total of 14 players.
The five running backs ranked were Breece Hall, Michael Carter, Tevin Coleman, Ty Johnson, and La’Mical Perine. Seven safeties were listed in Jordan Whitehead, Lamarcus Joyner, Jason Pinnock, Ashtyn Davis, Elijah Riley, Will Parks, and Kai Nacua. Greg Zuerlein was given a 75 overall at kicker, and Eddy Pineiro a 71.
Running back ratings
The Madden NFL 23 ratings for the Jets running backs were:
- Breece Hall, 76 overall
- Michael Carter, 75 overall
- Tevin Coleman, 72 overall
- Ty Johnson, 70 overall
- La’Mical Perine, 66 overall
Hall, well known for his speed, got a 91 rating. Carter received an agility rating of 89. Both Hall and Carter got a 91 for change of direction, which ranked them sixth and seventh overall at the running back position. Coleman and Johnson, who each have great speed, got respectable ratings. Coleman received a 91, and Johnson a 92.

Safety ratings
The Jets safeties ratings in Madden NFL 23 are:
- Lamarcus Joyner, 78 overall
- Jordan Whitehead, 77 overall
- Ashtyn Davis, 74 overall
- Will Parks, 69 overall
- Jason Pinnock, 67 overall
- Kai Nacua, 66 overall
- Elijah Riley, 63 overall
Joyner got a solid zone coverage rating of 84. The Whitehead rating of 77 does seem too low. His hit power grade of 89 and acceleration of 88 are very quality grades for the strong safety, though. The best two athletes from this bunch, Davis and Pinnock, got some good recognition. Davis, the former track star, got a 92-speed rating. Pinnock got an 89 speed and a great acceleration rating of 93.
