New York Jets long snapper Thomas Hennessy may only be in the league three years, but he is quite seasoned and polished.  He spent time with the Indianapolis Colts before ultimately landing with the New York Jets.  The Bardonia, New York native has proven to be an asset to the New York Jets.  What makes him stand out from the rest is not only his skills when it comes to the game of football but also the great work he does off of the field as well.

Hennessy will be joining the Muscular Dystrophy Association Organization of the United States of America or MDA org  for short whose aim is “transforming the lives of people affected by muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases through innovations in science and in care” for their 23rd Annual #MuscleTeam Gala on November 19th, 2019 which will take place at Cipriani’s in New York City.  The cocktail reception will take place at 6 p.m. followed by the dinner at 7:30 p.m. and will conclude with the dessert reception at 9 p.m.   Hennessy is supporting the overall goal to help discover treatments and a cure for muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases that could assist those afflicted.

This event will hopefully bring awareness to these diseases and ultimately help to find treatments that are effective and alleviate patients’ symptoms and ultimately cure it completely!    Having Hennessy there to support the cause of helping to eradicate the diseases that afflict so many is important to get the word out.
