The report dates for 2022 New York Jets training camp were just recently announced by the NFL. The report date for all of the Jets rookies is Tuesday, July 19th. One week later, on Tuesday, July 26th, all of the Jets veterans will report to training camp. As usual, Jets training camp will be held at the team’s facility in Florham Park, New Jersey, at The Atlantic Health Jets Training Center.
There will be great excitement to see the Jets draft class start to work together, headlined by Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson, Jermaine Johnson, and Breece Hall. It will be great to finally see the team practice at full speed in pads.
There are some key looming questions throughout the roster that will start to get answered in late July. We will get some insight on who is playing well and came prepared for the start of camp. Also, what surprises are taking place from lesser-known players on the roster.
Now, with the start dates for the first-year players and veterans in place, the Jets should have their practice schedule shared with the fans soon. The Jets have open practices to the fans held at the facility. Typically, they have the Green and White Scrimmage held at MetLife Stadium at some point. The team is also supposed to have a few inter-squad practices with other teams scheduled throughout camp.
It will be fun to see the beginning of this season start within the next 40 days. With more substantial expectations in place for the Jets this year, training camp will be a key opportunity the team must make the most of.
