Jabrill Peppers:

Jabrill Peppers is another player the Giants acquired and is one that will be looking to make a jump in 2020. The Michigan grad is coming off of the most productive season of his career, where he recorded 76 tackles, five pass deflections, one interception, and three forced fumbles in only eleven games. Sadly his breakout year came to an end due to a back injury causing him to miss the last five contests. Peppers will be looking to build on his improvement from last season come this season. With a depleted and young secondary, Peppers will be challenged to step up, and he is ready for this job.

Peppers told Maggie Gray of WFAN’s Moose and Maggie, “I don’t even think I’ve tapped into the type of player I can be, but it’s a marathon and not a spring. I’m grateful to be healthy now and have another opportunity in the lineup to do what I love. I’m grateful for the organization I play for, and I’m going to go out there and give everything I got each and every week.”

Peppers told Maggie Gray that he was happy to be healthy again and that he was excited to get going again this season. This may be the season where the New Jersey native finally uses his first-class talent and becomes a force to be reckoned with on the field. His job will be made a little easier than it was last year as he has James Bradberry and NFL Top 100’s Logan Ryan (60th) joining him in the secondary. This should help relieve pressure on Jabrill Peppers as he and his teammates try to improve on the woes of last year’s secondary.
