The New York Giants have improved their record to 3-1 after a 20-12 win over the Chicago Bears in Week Four. The game featured many twists and turns as the contest went wild down the stretch. It was anyone’s ball game but the Giants found a way to prevail and came away with the victory.

Head coach Brian Daboll is one of four New York Giants head coaches to start his Big Blue career with a 3-1 record. It’s been an impressive start for the Giants this season. Today’s win was a huge one coming off of a disappointing Monday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week.

Main takeaways from the New York Giants’ wild win against the Chicago Bears

Saquon Barkley once again led the New York Giants to victory on Sunday. The superstar running back has set a franchise record for the most rushing yards through four games, improving his season total to 463 rushing yards. Saquon had another monster performance today, rushing the ball a career-high 31-times for 146 rushing yards.

New York’s two touchdowns both came on the ground, however, Barkley did not reach the end zone versus Chicago. Instead, Daniel Jones rushed for a pair of touchdowns today to go along with his 68 yards on the ground. The New York Giants offense gained a total of 262 rushing yards against Chicago, propelling the team to victory.

Daniel Jones turned in an impressive performance today. That is until he left the game due to an injury. Jones suffered a lower leg injury that kept him sidelined until Tyrod Taylor also suffered an injury, forcing Jones to re-enter the lineup and hand the ball off to Barkley. Daniel Jones’s left ankle is injured though the severity is currently unknown. The Giants will hope to get their starting quarterback back and healthy as soon as possible.

Other than Daniel Jones, the Giants suffered a slew of injuries in today’s game. Evan Neal (neck), Aaron Robinson (knee), Tyrod Taylor (concussion), Julian Love (concussion), Azeez Ojulari (calf), and Kenny Golladay (knee) all left the game today with their respective injuries.

The New York Giants are happy to improve their record to 3-1 today, however, the team will need to get creative to supplement the losses of so many crucial players to injuries. Next week the Giants will be taking on the Green Bay Packers over in London, looking to make it 4-1 for the first time in a long time.
