New York Giants’ Golden Tate Pranks Michael Strahan

One of the best parts about playing for the New York Giants is the access it gets you around the city to different venues. The latest – Yankee Stadium, where newly acquired wide receiver Golden Tate decided to play a prank on a legend.

In a softball game hosted by CC Sabathia, Tate made his mark on the event when he attacked Michael Strahan with a Gatorade jug. This is symbolic after winning a trophy, as it seems Strahan’s side did.

Here’s the video of Tate dumping the entire thing on the former Giant. It seems as if Golden is enjoying his time in New York after spending 2018 in rival Philadelphia. It’s fantastic to see the positivity and energy Tate brings to the team and the surrounding organizations – he’s a fantastic player and human being.

What does Golden Tate bring to the New York Giants?

Last season with the Eagles and Lions, Tate earned 795 yards and 4 scores. The league’s best receiver after the catch brings a diverse skill set to the Giants. The ability to play on the exterior and interior along with Sterling Shepard should give veteran quarterback Eli Manning plenty of targets in the intermediate passing game.

Both Shepard and Tate are possession receivers that will move the chains efficiently. It will be interesting to see how the offense operates with Odell Beckham Jr. taking his talents to Cleveland. Speaking of OBJ, he’s stirring trouble again over social media. That’s one major thing I do not miss about the wideout, however, his one-handed catches and electrifying play-style will be missed on Sunday’s.
