Happy Tuesday New York Giants fans! The boring days are upon us as the rookies take the field and we wait for full-team training camp to start. But the silver lining – one more day gained until football Sunday! We are 116 days away from kickoff on September 5th…that is way longer than I thought.
In other news, the Giants are further developing their roster every day. They recently signed Mike Remmers to fill the right tackle position, although I wouldn’t be surprised if he competed with Chad Wheeler for the starting job and the latter somehow managed to win the spot. Nonetheless, the line is in much better shape than it was just two years ago — yes, I’m talking to you, Jerry Reese. That scum-bag.
The Giants have begun signing their rookies – both Ryan Connelly and Darius Slayton have signed their deals and are prepared to start working. Keep your eye on Connelly, he could be an underrated player going into training camp.
