There were two battles going on at 4 PM on Sunday, one between the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams, and another between Golden Tate and Jalen Ramsey.

While the Rams walked away with a 17-9 victory over Big Blue, the battle between Tate and Ramsey didn’t end until after the game. Both players got into a significant confrontation, and which punches were thrown. This could indicate a potential suspension for the next game, but the reasoning dates back to last year.

Jalen Ramsey used to date Golden Tate’s sister, Breanna. He has two children with her, but during her last pregnancy he broke off the relationship, choosing to engage with another woman. This rubbed Golden the wrong way and he publicly vocalized his discomfort. It was only a matter of time before the two players met in battle, and while Jalen’s team earned the victory, Tate wanted the last laugh.

As you can see in this video, both teams were in a scuffle, with center Nick Gates finding his way into the middle to begin pulling people off. You can always expect big Nick to find his way into a fight, as he previously had been trading blows with Aaron Donald during the loss.

However, the new culture that the Giants are setting doesn’t fall in line with this personal issue, and the Giants might think twice when it comes to retaining Tate for the 2021 season.
