With the New York Giants gearing up for a Prime Time matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, gaining back several offensive playmakers is a necessity. To start the week, the Giants were optimistic that Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, and Kadarius Toney would be available on Monday evening, but that assumption is becoming less probable.

On Thursday, the only limited participant out of the three was Toney, as Saquon and Kenny spent time working with trainers on the side.

New York Giants Injury Update:

1.) Kadarius Toney – Ankle

Kadarius Toney is expected to play on Monday evening, as he indicated after practice on Friday that he was excited about the opportunity. Getting a limited designation was a big step forward for the rookie receiver who has showcased some of his elite attributes this season against Dallas and New Orleans.

However, the Giants will likely limit Toney’s exposure, using him on specific plays to try and avoid a potential aggravation of the injury. With the offensive line in shambles, the Giants will need the “human joystick” to work in the shorter area of the field to pick up yards after the catch.

2.) Saquon Barkley – Ankle

Running back, Saquon Barkley is still fighting his way back from a low ankle sprain which has kept him out the past two weeks. Barkley has dealt with lower-body injuries on several occasions throughout his career, and this is just the next hurdle he has to jump through.

Saquon was listed as a did not participate on Friday, making him unlikely to suit up against Kansas City.

3.) Kenny Golladay – Hyperextended knee

Golladay is also featured on the did not participate list, so quarterback Daniel Jones will likely be without his top possession receiver. Golladay has only played in five games this year, posting 282 yards and failing to reach the end zone. His injury issues are becoming a serious problem, and the Giants might be regretting their four-year, $72 million commitment to him at this moment.
