Tomorrow night, Eagle FC will be hosting their 46th event and they have some high profiled names competing in the main event. We will see the debut of the super lightweight division of 165 pounds as UFC veterans Kevin Lee (18-7) and Diego Sanchez (30-13) will go to battle.

For Lee and Sanchez, this will be the first fight for both men after they were released from their UFC contracts. Both men signed with Eagle FC and both men are going to showcase this brand new division that only exists with Eagle FC.

For years, Kevin Lee struggled to find a home in terms of weight class. He competed at the highest level at lightweight, but he felt like he was depleting himself. Then, he could never really get things going at 170 pounds. Now, he gets to fight in a weight class that he wanted all along.

In his first fight at this weight, he takes on a legend. After a very eventful year and a half stretch, Diego Sanchez is back under the Eagle FC banner. The Nightmare is 3-2 in his last five fights and he’s looking to show he still has it tomorrow night.

Eagle FC Prediction and Preview

Kevin Lee is a sizable favorite for tomorrow night’s Eagle FC main event and he should be. To me, there is still plenty in the tank for Kevin Lee and I still believe that he can compete at a very high level. Not sure I can say the same for Diego Sanchez.

I’m expecting a pretty one-sided fight in the main event with Kevin Lee getting the nod. In the co-main event, we will see the Eagle FC heavyweight title on the line as Dana White Contender Series vet Rizvan Kuniev (11-2-1) takes on UFC vet Anthony Hamilton (18-10).

Given the news we learned yesterday, one of these guys might be in line to defend the title against Junior Dos Santos soon. One fight that should be garnering even more attention is the bantamweight fight between Ray Borg (15-5) and Ricky Bandejas (15-6).

Absolutely love this match-making from Eagle FC and I’m excited to see Borg back in action. When his mind is right, he’s incredibly talented and he’s going to be looking to pickup his third straight win since his departure from the UFC.
