The New York Yankees reported on Tuesday morning that Aaron Judge would be kept out of team-related drills due to a shoulder injury that was bothering him. The ailment seems to be minor and more maintenance-related than anything, but it’s worth noting after fielders reported to camp on Monday.

Judge was not seen at batting practice for the first full day of training, but he was able to participate in other non-strenuous drills to mitigate any injury concern.

The Yankees’ top youth player at 27-years-old, missed 50 games last season with a bevy of issues, ranging from a chipped bone in his wrist to lat issues. Judge is undoubtedly looking to bounce back with a healthy season in 2020.
