The New York Yankees hosted their second intrasquad exhibition game on Tuesday night, with Gerrit Cole featuring on the mound.
Cole, who signed a nine-year, $324 million deal this off-season, started off the game by striking out Mike Tauchman on four straight pitches. He followed that up with a Miguel Andujar opposite-field home run.
The first pitch to Andujar was taken deep, as the young outfielder/third-baseman is finding his offensive groove once more.
