Things could not get much worse for the New York Yankees. The team announced this afternoon that they have put Gio Urshela on the 10 day IL due to an elbow injury. Miguel Andujar will take his place in one or both of the doubleheader games in Baltimore tonight. Urshela has had a problem with a bone spur for the past week.
Urshela is only the latest injury. James Paxton, Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, and Gleyber Torres are already on the Yankee IL list.
