New York Rangers trim Training Camp roster to 42

Prior to tonight’s preseason game against the New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has trimmed its Training Camp roster by 19 players.

The New York Rangers have assigned 19 players to the AHL Hartford Wolf Pack in an announcement made this afternoon.

Talyn Boyko, Easton Brodzinski, Cristiano DiGiacinto, Tanner Fritz, Parker Gahagen, Dylan Garand,  Zach Giuttari, Louka Henault, Blake Hillman, Zach Jordan, Ryder Korczak, Ryan Lohin, Luke Martin, Matt Rempe, Matthew Robertson, Austin Rueschhoff, Hunter Skinner, Bobby Trivigno and Alex Whelan.

Matthew Roberston was to have been part of the conversation for the sixth or seventh defenseman but instead will attend the Wolf Pack’s training camp when it begins on Monday.

Per the Ranger’s release, here is a list of the remaining players in camp;

The Rangers have 42 players remaining in Training Camp. The roster breakdown is listed below:
