The New York Knicks are still waiting to be tested for COVID-19.  While fans wait for the team to be tested, there’s no new news to report.

Fans and writers can speculate between draft picks and grades for the Knicks players to pass the time.  Throughout the world, sports were suppose to distract us and be fun.  So, what jersey’s should the Knicks bring back, if any.

We’ll start with the 1999 dark blue jerseys with the black stripe down the side.  Those jerseys remind all Knicks fans of the good ole, hard-nosed days.

That jersey had the Knicks in the NBA finals and we’re on during great rivalries.  When you see those jerseys, one may immediately think Allan Houston, Larry Johnson and Latrell Sprewell.  It’s a classic throwback that all fans would love.  It’s a different demeanor and look for the Knicks.

Next is the green St. Patrick’s Day jersey.  While many fans will say this jersey is another great throwback however it shouldn’t be a consistent jersey.  Once in a while it’s nice to see and switch it up but not all the time.

Then we have the old school Knicks throwbacks during the Patrick Ewing days and those when Willis Reed played.  Pretty plain with no stripes on the top or bottom.  You can even bring back the old school Knicks ‘NY’ logo.

Those jerseys represent the good old school championship and competitiveness of the Knicks.  Well, maybe not so much with the green jerseys but the majority have good memories.

Some honorable mentions are the Knicks jerseys paying homage to New York City’s fire department.  The plain white jerseys with the small Knicks logo in the middle.  The back of those jerseys had the number on top with the players last name below.

While this might not be for a lot of people, the majority of fans would give anything for New York Knicks basketball back.  We all will get through this.  Stay safe everyone.
