The New York Knicks joined the league in solidarity to condemn racism in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The Knicks released a statement shortly after the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted Game 5 of their NBA playoff series against the Orlando Magic.  The league has since canceled all the Wednesday games and will be rescheduled.

“We support the league’s decision to postpone the games and strongly reiterate our condemnation of racism and violence,” said the Knicks’ statement.

Several Knicks players also joined the protest on social media.

The NBA players remaining in the Orlando Bubble will meet tonight in a crucial meeting that will determine the fate of the rest of the season.
