The biggest off-season in the history of the New York Knicks is creeping up. Â Fans need to be ready. Â Every fan, young and old, needs to be all set for the worst possible outcomes imaginable.
While it is great to be optimistic about the future of our team, it may not work out like we hope. Â Knicks fans everywhere have been banking on Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, whoever else possible, for next season. Â Trust me, I too, am hoping for the best. Â But, the Knicks could whiff, despite their cap space.
However, fans need to be ready for missing out on Durant, Irving, Kemba Walker, Kawhi Leonard, etc. Â This is something that Knicks fans do not want to hear. Â It needs to be said.
We fans are getting ourselves all hyped up over this off-season.  It seems like numerous people are writing it in stone that the Knicks are getting someone.  What if Durant or whoever doesn’t come?  It would not surprise myself and others if there is a riot or two.
Empire Sports Media tries to bring realistic content to the New York sports fans. This is a realistic scenario for the Knicks fans. Â Durant, Kyrie, whoever might not come. Â The New York Knicks might not get the number one pick.
Fans need to prepare themselves for all of it. Â If it happens, we will unfortunately need to accept it. Â As much as we all want it to happen, it might not. Â Pray for the best, prepare for the worst.
