BREAKING: New York Jets trade Jamal Adams to the Seattle Seahawks

According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, the New York Jets are sending star safety Jamal Adams to the Seattle Seahawks. The Jets lose a massive piece in their secondary due to supposed ignorance from head coach Adam Gase. The jury is still out on that argument. Adams has made it clear he wants out of New York.

Adams has been the star for the Jets’ defense the past three seasons, missing just two games in his career. In 2019, he was a first-team All-Pro athlete who posted 75 combined tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 13 quarterback hits, two forced fumbles, and one interception.

The trade details:

As per Costello, the Jets will send Jamal Adams and a 2022 4th round pick to Seattle. In return, they will gain 2021 first-round pick, 2022 first-round pick, 2021 3rd round pick, and safety Bradley McDougald.
