Good Morning, New York Giants Fans!

The New York Giants travel to the Cincinnati Bengals for their third preseason game of the year on Thursday, and there will be plenty to watch out for and analyze.

Five New York Giants players to watch out for:

1.) Evan Engram

The Giants’ top tight end is preparing for a big season after the departure of Odell Beckham Jr. With OBJ off the field, Engram saw his statistical totals double over the final four games of the year in 2018.

Engram recently stated that his blocking had developed exponentially and he’s ready to have a big 2019 season. Keep an eye out for him against the Bengals, as he will likely get his first action of the year.

2.) Darius Slayton

After missing the first two preseason games with a hamstring injury, Slayton is finally slated to earn playing time. The Giants released WR Da’Mari Scott on Wednesday, which might be an indication of Slayton getting an excellent workload. They should be cautious, however, due to a recent hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for a few weeks.

3.) Daniel Jones

After fumbling twice against the Chicago Bears, Jones will look to be more careful with the ball in his hands. His throws have been pin-point accurate so far, but there are kinks he needs to fix. Hopefully, he can correct those issues and put out a third-consecutive solid performance passing.
