In order to get through these unprecedented tough times, we all need to band together and help one another which is something former New York Giants linebacker J.T. Thomas is doing with his foundation The J.T. Thomas III Foundation.
To help spread some positivity and aid those in need during the Coronavirus pandemic, Thomas and his foundation joined Feeding South Florida a hunger-relief organization serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. This past Friday, April 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thomas helped hand out food from to those less fortunate at a drive-thru food distribution site at Mills Pond Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As always, Thomas jumped at the opportunity to help out. He shared a video on his Instagram saying that this might be “one of the most beautiful things he’s ever seen” and how he was honored to be a part of it and give back to his city. He expressed his gratitude for Feeding South Florida and left off with a message of positivity saying that he is praying for all of us.
Being a beacon of light is nothing new to Thomas. Along with his foundation, Thomas is always giving back in any way he can, all while having a smile on his face. Thomas has taken a young girl with Spina Bifida to her prom which warmed the hearts of all, hosted football camps for the youth teaching them valuable skills for the game of football and beyond, attended a charity bowling event to benefit Intensive Therapeutics to help children with special needs, mentored youth, providing scholarships to help students in the advancement of their education and has done so much more wonderful things to help others, with more great things in store!
Thomas is the sweetest, kindest, most down-to-earth guy you will ever find. There truly are not enough nice things to say about him! He has used his platform to help as many people as he can and to be a pillar of hope for all! His giving nature and selfless demeanor make him truly admirable. He is the epitome of class and represents what is good in this world. His contributions and philanthropic endeavors serve as a reminder that we all should help each other and empower one another to make this world a better place and we all could really use a little hope now!
