It looks like we are going to see quite the brawl at BKFC‘s Knucklemania next month. This evening, MMA Fighting confirmed with sources close to the promotion that Mike Perry (14-8 MMA) will be making his debut with Bare Knuckle next month and he will be taking on Julian Lane (3-4 BKFC).

The matchup will take place at Knucklemania on February 19th. This fight could be seen coming from a mile away after what happened last month. Last month, Mike Perry found himself at a BKFC event. He was being interviewed when he started being heckled from behind by Julian Lane.

Perry rose to his feet and the two started brawling. Whether it was a work or not, the interest in seeing these two compete was born with that moment. For Julian Lane, he will be making his eighth appearance under the BKFC banner.

So far, it’s been a mixed bag of results for Lane. Lane rose to fame on The Ultimate Fighter when he had one of the more viral moments in the show’s history. You all will likely remember Lane just by hearing the phrase, “Let me bang bro.”

Now, Lane will get his chance against Mike Perry at BKFC’s Knucklemania.

BKFC Debut for Perry

Bare Knuckle has been trying to get more and more mainstream over the past couple of years. We’ve seen UFC veterans make the switch. Fighters like Paige VanZant, Thiago Alves, Joey Beltran, and Rachael Ostovich are just a few who have made the jump.

Late last year, Perry signed with BKFC after his stretch with the UFC concluded. Prior to signing, Perry did compete in a Triller event where he competed in a custom rules bout against Michael Seals. The bout was prodominately boxing and Perry looked pretty good on his way to winning a split decision.

Now, he’s likely going to be in one of the featured bouts of BKFC’s Knucklemania. Who really knows what to expect when these two fight next month. One thing I know for sure is it’s likely to be a brawl and someone is likely going to get finished.
