BKFC has booked a huge main event for their London show that will go down in August. The promotion announced a few hours ago that Bellator’s Michael “Venom” Page (20-2 MMA) will be making his Bare Knuckle debut against “Platinum” Mike Perry (1-0 BKFC).

Worth noting that this is a one-time deal. It will happen on August 20th and after this fight, Page will return to Bellator. Page has expressed interest in getting back in the boxing ring and now he can with his BKFC debut.

This is a huge deal for Bare Knuckle and it opens the doors for future events like this. Scott Coker has never been afraid to do cross-promotional matchups so I wouldn’t be shocked if we see more Bellator and BKFC matchups in the future.

For Page, he’s going to be looking to get back in the win column. The last time we saw him, he lost in London to Logan Storley for the interim welterweight title. Page still wants to become Bellator champion, but this pit stop in BKFC will give him a great chance to reset and have some fun.

BKFC London

Earlier this year, “Platinum” Mike Perry made his BKFC debut when he took on Julian Lane. It was his second performance after he finished his time with the UFC. Prior to his Bare Knuckle debut, he had a custom rules matchup with Michael Seals that he won by split decision.

There was a ton of heat between Mike Perry and Julian Lane. It was one of the featured matchups at BKFC’s Knuckle Mania event this year. Perry had a very strong performance and he went on to pick up the decision victory.

Now, he’s going to get the toughest test he’s had in a while. Michael Page is a sensational striker. One of the best in MMA. Perry has always been more of a brawler and he’s going to need to make it a brawl. If he tries to be technical with MVP at BKFC 27, it’s going to be a very quick night at the office.
