The 2025 NFL Draft class might not have a grouping of elite quarterbacks clustered at the top like last year did. However, there are plenty of exciting prospects to get excited about on the first two nights of the draft, particularly at the skill positions. It’s a good offseason for a team to need some playmaking talent.
The prospects ranked No. 30 through No. 21 on my Big Board contain elite skills, but a lot of them aren’t the complete package to get them into a higher ranking. Here, you’ll see plenty of skillful players NFL teams are looking to select with their first pick.
30 – East Carolina CB Shavon Revel

Shavon Revel is a tall, lengthy coverage cornerback who will be very good in the NFL. He can cover receivers with speed, and has long arms to break up shorter-intermediate passes. Revel needs to improve upon his tackling, but his coverage skills are great.
29 – Oregon DL Derrick Harmon

Derrick Harmon is a bit of an underrated prospect, and if he had sured up his tackling he would have been a decent bit higher on this list. He brings an incredible force to a defensive front, in both the run and pass game. He will be an impactful player in the NFL.
28 – Ohio State EDGE Jack Sawyer

Jack Sawyer had a massive impact this season on Ohio State, especially in their National Championship run. In the playoffs, Sawyer had 4.5 sacks, leading the way for the Buckeyes. He has a very good frame, and is quick for his size. Any team, which may be all, who needs an edge is definitely looking at Sawyer.
27 – Texas DB Jahdae Barron

Jahdae Barron might not have great size, and may not be the fastest, but he possibly could be the best coverage defender in the draft. Barron could slide over to the safety position, and act as a center fielder. Barron is a very good defensive back, who will thrive in an out-of-the-box coverage role.
26 – Ohio State WR Emeka Egbuka

Emeka Egbuka is a good wide receiver prospect. He has a solid frame, speed, and is a sharp route runner. He did play a secondary role to Jeremiah Smith this season, but that is not because of his skill. Egbuka is a very good player, and could be used right out of the game because of his polished abilities.
25 – North Dakota State OL Grey Zabel

Grey Zabel is one of many top round offensive linemen who we are not 100% sure which position on the line he’ll play. He has solid height, but his arm length is shorter than desired for tackle. He did have a phenomenal season at NDSU, all be it the lower level of competition. Zabel is one of my favorite lineman prospects in the draft.
24 – Missouri WR Luther Burden III

Luther Burden is an extremely versatile receiver, who can play a bunch of different roles. He is great with the ball in his hands, either on the offensive side or returning. Burden is elusive, and breaks tackles easily. He is also a very good blocker, who gets his nose in there on every play. Burden will be a multi-use receiver, which a bunch of teams need.
23 – University of North Carolina HB Omarion Hampton

Omarion Hampton is seen amongst football as the second-best running back in the draft class, which for me is 100% true. Hampton is a beast, with good size and speed, and the production to back him up. He ran for 1,660 yards and 15 touchdowns, just an incredible talent. Hampton can be a Pro Bowl caliber back in the NFL.
22 – Texas A&M DL/EDGE Shemar Stewart

Shemar Stewart has a massive frame, and is extremely physical. He is also quick and has a good get off. But when you look at Stewart’s stats, they don’t jump off the page. If you watched the senior bowl, Stewart was one of a few that jumped off right at you. Many do not think he’ll get past the first round, which does not surprise me one bit.
21 – Notre Dame CB Benjamin Morrison

Benjamin Morrison had an injury-riddled season, having a hip injury that ended his season in Week 7. But, as most know, Morrison is a great defender. He will be a cornerback in the NFL, and should be a good outside defender. If his recovery goes well, he should be ready to go before the season.
