BREAKING: New York Yankees minor leaguer tests positive for Corona Virus

The New York Yankees have officially been affected by the Corona Virus, aside from the MLB shutting down operations and halting all games and formal practices.

Jon Heyman reports that a minor-leaguer tested positive for the Corona Virus and is currently in isolation for the time being.

Executive Kevin Reese stated:

“Please be advised that we have a confirmed positive test for a player in (minors) camp. The patient is recovering well. We have been in constant contact w/the Dept. of Health and they have taken charge of (our next steps) …”

The Yankees and MLB will take all precautions moving forward, ensuring all players who came in contact with the minor leaguer will be quarantined for the next few weeks. Any updated information will appear below!
