The New York Knicks made a minor but interesting move Tuesday when they waived Feron Hunt and gave its two-way spot to Daquan Jeffries.

Hunt and Jeffries play for the Knicks’ G League affiliate in Westchester.

Jeffries is averaging 14.6 points on 51 percent shooting, 4.4 rebounds, one steal and one block for the Eastern Conference’s cellar-dwelling Westchester Knicks (1-7) in the ongoing G League Showcase Cup.

On the other hand, Hunt has better numbers across the board — 16.1 points on 54 percent shooting, 7.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.6 blocks.

Both players are shooting terribly from the three-point zone (Jeffries at 21.4 percent and Hunt at 28.6 percent) and at the free-throw line (Jeffries at 60 percent and Hunt at 63.6 percent).

Jeffries joins second-round pick Trevor Keels (14.3 points on 37.4 percent shooting, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists) as the Knicks’ two-way player.

Jeffries and Keels are not expected to suit up for the Knicks this season, given their roster crunch.
