The New York Giants are still in need of offensive line support, but they clearly weren’t looking as far as former guard D.J. Fluker.
Fluker signed a one-year “prove it” deal with the Giants in 2017, and proved that he wasn’t a first-round bust after all. His time with the San Diego Chargers said otherwise, but Fluker made the most of his time in New York, proving to be a solid run blocker down the stretch.
His infusion in the line immediately saw the offense improve and the Seahawks clearly noticed that on film as they’ve given him a shiny new contract.
